This is an emergency page for a substitute teacher who has to come in for a few days for me unexpectedly. I realize that we may be in the middle of something else, but we will pick up with that when I get back. This will be a graded assignment and will carry the weight of a test grade if it is used.
The Project
You will be assigned one of the Seven Wonders of the United State on which to become our class expert. You will select your wonder from a bucket. There will be at least one other person working with you on this project. You must keep in mind that you are expected to do your share of the work on the project. If you do not your grade will reflect that.
Day 1 - Research
Today is the only day that you will get to research your topic. You will need to learn all that you can today about your wonder. You will also need to keep a complete bibliography using EasyBib.
Day 2 - PowerPoint
Today you will create a PowerPoint presentation about your wonder. Please remember that your PowerPoint is to have VERY little text on the slides. A portion of your grade will be based on your personal knowledge about the wonder. Also remember that you will need to include the graphics you use as part of your bibliography.
Day 3 - Presentations
Today you will present your learning to the class. Check the rubric below to see how the project will be graded.
